Catholic Education Week - Tuesday May 4, 2021

Today we celebrate “Sowing the Seeds of Gratitude”: We can’t help but remember and be thankful for the health care providers, the essential workers, and the volunteers whose sacrifices contributed to the common good during our time of separation from each other. Let us pray now together, united in the hope that comes to us through Jesus.

Prayer

God of goodness and love,
We come together today in a spirit of prayer and gratitude for the blessings you give.
Hope is a gift you give to us all and we are grateful that we have your love and each other during these challenging times.
Fill our hearts with your light and hope and strengthen our faith that we may sow seeds of gratitude.
We make this prayer in the name of Jesus, Prince of Peace.

Amen.

It is difficult in these times to know where to look for hope. The love of God offers us hope with every new day. We simply need to look around us at the world bursting with new life to appreciate God’s love for us.
